As part of a One Planet Living strategy for the Croydon Smaller Sites we worked to create Sustainable Living Guides for Upper Norwood and Thornton Heath to help new residents moving into their homes live happy, healthy and sustainable lives. The guides highlight sustainable travel options such as cycling and walking routes, car clubs and public transport as well as local places to explore shown on an interactive map (parks, leisure and general amenities). The guide suggests where to stay active locally and lists support groups and volunteering opportunities nearby as well as encouraging residents to shop locally, reduce their waste, water use and fuel consumption wherever possible.
